WATER SNEAKERS

STORY-

This project was done to improve the appeal of outdoor hiking water shoes.

​

Water sneakers are generally poorly designed, don't offer much foot protection or a quick way for water to exit.

Sole Searching-

During the design process I tried incorporating different kinds of features like protection, breathability, more grip and lighter materials. I wanted the feel of the shoe to fit like a glove but at the same time not have it be too constricting. I also incorporated vibrant colors to make it stand out from its environment.
